The old school approach is possible, however, for this purpose, you can also use IMAP migration. For the following steps, you will need Office 365 admin in your new organization. Also, he will need to have your Office 365 credentials from your old organization so I strongly suggest you to check whether this is ok with your old organization.
The steps (if you decide to use this approach), please share these steps with your new organization Office 365 admin:
- Create an account in new organization and add a license.
- From Admin center go to Setup> Data migration> View migrations> Other email source.
- Server name: Outlook.office365.com
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL
- Add email address and the password from your old account.
- In the next tab, select the new account, add the username and the password as required and start migration.
