We appreciate that you provided the simple file and font file for us. And thank you for your patience.
I have tested it according to the template file you provided, and I encountered the same situation as yours. However, if we used the font you provided and we cannot reproduce the same situation.
Given this situation, we want to give you the steps below and hope that will help you:
Open the Word application > Open > This PC > Documents > Custom Office Templates > Open the template provided to us > Click on down arrow beside the bullets in Paragraph > Define New Bullet > Click on Font > Change the Font to British Council and other settings based on his requirement > OK > OK> Save the template, then you can create a new document based on this template and check if the font for bullets are embed.
If the problem persists, I want to confirm the information below with you:
- You can create a new document to check if the same problem will occur.
- We also want to check the behavior in same environment, could you provide the Product Information and version of Word? You can go to Word > File > Account and provide the screenshot of it.
- At the same time, you mentioned “British Council Sans Headline does not embed at all even though it embeds find in PowerPoint”, since we cannot reproduce the same situation as yours, so we want to collect the video with you to check the difference between them.
- May I know how you shared the files with the other users? For example, via OneDrive or place the document in Network drive?
