Dictation ends in onenote app on iPhone with ‘new line’

When using Dictation in the OneNote app, Dictation will end when I use the command ‘new line’.  Then I have to hit dictation again for it to continue. How is this corrected so that when I use the command, ‘new line’ It will go to the next line without stopping?  The command ‘new paragraph’ does not work either.  The commands for punctuation do work.
