I am using Azure Migrate and have two VM's that are fully replicated and ready to be migrated. I just noticed the target region is not correct. How can I correct this?

    Hi

    see below:

    • The region for the project cannot be changed after the first replication is initiated. Please select the region carefully.

    Taken from here:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/tutorial-migrate-vmware#replicate-vms

You may need to set up the replication again from scratch in the correct region.

    Thanks

So I need to stop the replication and start again? What is the best way to do this?

    Hi @rr-4098 ,

to stop the replication of a VM in Azure Migrate right-click on the VM in the list and choose Stop replication.
After the replication stopped you should be able to setup a new replication with the right region.

In case others run into this in the future, the only way to correct this is to create a new project and uninstall the software from the migration server and install it again. This is what Microsoft support told me to do.
