Office 365 square orange icon does not show up

Hi, I reformatted my Laptop and have Windows 10. I installed Office 365 and got the "square orange icon" as the APP Launcher for the various Office Apps. But then the "WORD" app was having a GLITCH.

So I UNINSTALLED completely and REINSTALLED Office 365 AGAIN and all the various Office apps GOT installed as normal but NOW I DON"T have the "APP LAUNCHER SQUARE ORANGE ICON" anymore.

The ORANGE ICON where all the Office Apps are grouped.

Can you please help.

    Is it listed in Settings > Apps & Features? (It's separate from office software)

    Does this path exist?

    C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_8wekyb3d8bbwe

    If yes, use Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Win to open it. (If its not installed the shortcut should open Office.com's hub)

    Try a Quick Repair - right click on the start menu and choose Apps & Features, find and select the Office installation. Choose Modify then select the Quick repair option.

    Hi again, I tried C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_8wekyb3d8bbwe

    and there was NO folder inside the PACKAGES folder - ( Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_8wekyb3d8bbwe ) -  I looked thoroughly and nothing there.

    What is the next step, please?

    Hi, I typed Office in the start menu and it DIDN'T come up.

    I opened the MS Store and clicked on the 3 dots and I DIDN'T find the APP LAUNCHER SQUARE ICON on the list of Apps.

    What is the NEXT STEP please?

    Hi maurice,

    That office dashboard app is in the Windows store. If you type office on the start menu and it doesn't come up, open the store, click on the 3 dots on the right and choose Download & Updates to find and install it.
