Printing blank pages

In WORD when I print a document with blank pages on a HP printer the pages are not printed. So if I'm manually creating a booklet by printing 2 pages on both sides of a landscape format using sequenced page numbers the pages are lost and the sequence is broken. I can over come this by writing something on the blank pages like "Intentionally Blank" but is there a way of forcing the printer to print blank pages?

I expect that Suzanne's advice will help.

If not, to help you, we really need to know how you create the blank pages.

If you want, save a sample document with the problem on OneDrive or Dropbox and paste a link here. Remove any confidential or sensitive information first. I or someone else can take a look at it.

    Hi Charles,

I'm trying to print out a pdf booklet that contains blank pages.  My printer doesn't support book printing. It's a small booklet of 65 pages and I decide to print out double sided sheets with 2 pages per side. It worked very well until I got to the end of the book when the blank page at the end of the booklet came into play. I can work my way around it but was curious to know if was an existing solution.

If you use the "Book fold" setting in Word, you should get any blank pages that are generated by Word as a result of, say, an Odd Page section break. If you find this doesn't print as expected, change the "Multiple pages" setting to "2 pages per sheet" and print to PDF, then use the "Booklet setting" in the Print dialog of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

    Hi

How are you creating the blank pages?

Have you updated your printer driver from HP?

When you say that the blank pages do not print, to you mean that you do not get a blank page, or that it prints completely blank?

If you want, save a sample document with the problem on OneDrive or Dropbox and paste a link here. Remove any confidential or sensitive information first. I or someone else can take a look at it.

    For OneDrive: See https://support.office.com/article/share-onedri...

    For DropBox: See https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/share/vi...

This could be an excerpt from your book including one of the blank pages.
