Rearrange order of Word documents

When I have multiple Word documents open and I mouse over the Word icon on the taskbar, a popup shows all the open documents. Is there a way I can re-order the documents on that popup? (Using Office 365 University with Windows 10)

Alas, Windows 10, unlike Windows 7, does not permit reordering the Word (or any) jump list. The only way you can change the order is to unpin pinned files, then open them in the desired order and repin them. The unpinned documents are in the order of most recent use.

Thanks so much, Suzanne...that's what I figured, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I'll try the idea of pinning.
