What is the "status" column for in Office?

I have a brand new Windows 10 computer with new Microsoft Office Home & Business 2019 installed.

What is the "status" column for in Office?  

I see two circular arrows after what looks to me like all of the documents I moved over from my old computer.

    Hi Nancy

    That Status column indicates the status of those files being synced to OneDrive

    A Tick Mark indicates the file is synced, the rotating arrows indicated syncing in progress and a red circle with an X indicates the file could not be synced to the Cloud . .
