Generating a document on the basis of questions

Good afternoon,

I would like to create a Word document, in which on the basis of choosing options to questions will generate text.

For example: There will be a question, to which I have to answer by choosing yes or no. If I choose yes, then in some specific location in document will be generated specified block of text. If I choose no, then nothing will hapen. Or The question will be "How many". If I put a number 1, then 1 block of text will be generated, if number 4, then 4 of the blocks will be generated under each other.

Is something like this possible? If yes, what is the best/ most effective approach?

I am a beginner and don't know where to start. I heard about some "content control" tools but don't want to put hours in studying something that is not possible.

Thank you for every advice.

Thank you very much. Is it usable in office 365 without legacy tools?

    Yes. Here is another tutorial:

Create a Simple Userform by Graham Mayor, MVP

Userforms are custom dialog boxes created using the vba programming language.

If your text requires special formatting, you may want to save it in your template as AutoText and have your userform insert that. Here are instructions on how to use vba to insert AutoText.

Using VBA to Insent an AutoText Entry or other Building Block
