looping slides several times in PPT Presentation

I'm working one a presentation that has looping sections in it. The presenter want to start out with normal slides that he advances one after the other. About 10 slides in he would like several slides to loop. Each slide advancing at a set interval until he hits the arrow key to advance to the next slide in the presentation. He'll move along in the presentation for a few more slide then start another loop.

I've tried setting up a custom slide show but it only shows those slides in the loop. I can't figure out how to start the presentation like normal, loop a few slides then go back to the normal presentation then loop several slides again.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this?

    Hi mIshka4406,

Thanks for using Microsoft product and posting in the community.

According to your description, you want to have different kinds of playing orders. You could use the Custom Show and Hide Slide to meet your requirement.

    Here are the steps:

    1. Select all the slides>select Transitions> uncheck On Mouse Click, check After and type time

    1. Select all the slides> select Set Up Slide Show>in Show options and check loop continuously until Esc

    1. Select the slides which are the individual slides (for example slide3, 4, 5)>right click Hide Slide

    1. Create Custom Show: go to Slide Show>Custom Show>Custom Slide Show> select + and create the order for the individual slides. (like add slide3.4.5)

    1. Go to the slide which you want to link to the individual slide>Insert >Link>In This Document, select Custom Shows and chose it>OK

    1. Go to the individual slide you want to link to the normal slide>Insert>Link>Slide Titles>chose the normal slide>OK

If my suggestion conflicts your requirement, please describe your requirement with more details to us. We are willing to help you.

    Regards,

    George
