Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level test and Flesch Reading Ease test scores not showing (Office 365)

Even though the Show readability statistics box is checked in Options> Proofing, the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level test and Flesch Reading Ease test scores are not showing up when I finish checking the document for grammar and spelling. I get the number of characters per word, and the number of words per sentence, but not these test scores. (They don't show up in the popup box).

Which language has been specified for the text? Readability scores may not be available for all languages. Also, have you corrected or ignored any spelling errors? That is required for the scores to show up, according to https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Get-your-document-s-readability-and-level-statistics-85b4969e-e80a-4777-8dd3-f7fc3c8b3fd2.

Here are some more things to check

Word provides some handy document analysis that can help improve your writing. One such tool is the readability statistics you can generate about your document. What if those statistics stop showing up, though? Here are a few things to check.

I'm writing a French novel. Since F-K Grade Level  and Reading Ease take into account sentence length, word count and  syllables, I figured it would compute the data in all languages. I know French isn't exactly the same as English in terms of general world length, but at least it would give some idea. Oh, well, guess not. I can always choose English as language, skip the thousands of "errors" and get to the Readability scores.  :P

    Thank you.
