2007 went out of support late 2017 and since then no updates of any type, so your 2007 installation is 'degraded'
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Due to the forced updates, and my computer refusing to update past 1803 for completely unknown reasons, I had to do a fresh install, which was an adventure unto itself but I digress, and had to reinstall all of my apps.
This includes my copy of MS Office Home and Student 2007, which I have been using happily since 2007. The problem is, I created a new document, saved it as a doc file, and then tried to save a 2nd copy as a PDF, but that option is gone from my save as list. I have literally done this dozens of times in the past. I have never installed a third party software to help Word do this, it was just under the Save As menu. I have also had my system crash in the past and reinstalled MS Office and was still had the ability to save the file as a PDF.
Anyone else run into this or know a solution other than start working with the Google products which allow me to do this easily, and can also convert the files I recently created in Word with a few simple steps?
Thanks!

Early versions of Office 2007 did not have the ability to create PDF files. It was introduced with one of the later releases. It can be added to the early versions if you haven't got the SP2 update. If you need the SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe patch and cannot find it contact me via my web site and I'll e-mail it to you,
Thanks for the response! I found others that claimed '07 never supported PDF, and I knew that wasn't the case. So... use Google. Gotcha.
