    Hi.

I experienced the same issue today.

It appears, for example, that if I hide slides 1, 2 and 4, only slide 4 is hidden in the slide show. Slides 1 and 2 continue to display.

If I then unhide slide 1, so only slides 2 and 4 are hidden, slides 2 and 4 are correctly not shown in the slide show.

So it would appear that you cannot hide slide 1. If you do all consecutively hidden slides will not hide.

Is anyone able to confirm if this is a known fault or an issue with my implementation?

    Many thanks

    Neptune.

If you mean that if a hidden slide is displayed then subsequent hidden slides also displayed than this is normal and has always happens (I'm not saying it is correct)

If you hide slide 1 (and why would you?) go to Slide Show> set up show and set the slides to display as 2 > whatever

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Is the issue that hidden slides still showing when you start slide show?

I suggest you try following to narrow down if it is a specific presentation issue:

Create a new presentation, copy all slides from the original presentation and paste them in the new presentation, hide the slides you want by right clicking the slides>Hide Slide, then start slide show.

If the issue appears in all presentations that have hidden slides, I suggest you try Online Repair Office and see if the issue can be fixed. Please check this article: Repair an Office application

If issue persists, I'd like to confirm information below to help you do further troubleshooting:

1.As you mentioned you didn't have the issue before, what changes have you done before issue happens? Update Office or Windows? Or install any program on your computer?

2.In PowerPoint, please capture a full screenshot of Product Information via File>Account.

Thanks for your patience and effort.

    Best regards,

    Tina
