    After losing 6 hours with Microsoft level 2. I finally find a solution by my self.

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/5f9dc79a-5263-4a0f-8cd4-9ecd8b90f612/when-preview-pane-is-enabled-word-documents-give-error-word-could-not-create-the-work-file-check?forum=win10itprogeneral

    It has taken me weeks of revisiting this issue to find a solution buried deep on a page.

    Preview pane does not work with 32 bit office.

    Open regedit.

    browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\

    Backup the CLSID

    Delete keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID{00020827-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID{65235197-874B-4A07-BDC5-E65EA825B718}

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID{84F66100-FF7C-4fb4-B0C0-02CD7FB668FE}

    Reboot.

    Test.

    I appreciate your response. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps provided by Rohn007? How was it?

    I would recommend that you reregister your Word files again. To do this follow the steps below:

    1. Press Windows Key + R.
    2. Type winword.exe/r
    3. Click OK.

    or

    1. Press Windows Key + R, type Regedt32.exe in the dialog box, then hit Enter.
    2. Go to HKEY_ CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
    3. Look for AppData, check the value data if it has been changed. If it has been changed, enter the default value: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming, then select OK.
    4. Close the Registry Editor, and restart your computer. Check if the issue has been addressed.

    Important: Back up the Registry, before performing any changes in the Registry. Here's an article to guide you on how to back up and restore registry in Windows.

    Update me with the results.

    I run the winword.exe /r

    But for the registry this path does not exist (Starting at CurrentVersion).

    Yesterday I had a discussion the Windows and office tech support. And I still have the same problem.

    I have an appointment with tech support level 2 on next Mondays.

    I could not understand why it's so complicate to solve this problem.

    Hi X1Extreme,

    I'd like to verify if you've already tried the troubleshooting steps provided on this support article. Also, may I ask for the exact build and version of you Office 2019? To get this, follow the steps provided on this link. Do you have an Office 365 subscription?

    To notify me and have me get back to you, simply reply to this thread.
