Word won't print landscape

My document orientation is landscape.  When I go to print, it is in portrait mode.  I don't see anywhere to change the orientation in the print dialogues.  I went back to the document, changed to portrait then changed back to landscape, still no luck.  Closed out Word and reopened.  No luck.  I am using Word for Mac 16.34 in Office 365 running on a MacBook Air with Catalina 10.15.3, printing with a Brother HL-L2380DW.  Any help?

I understand all of that, and that's not what I'm asking Word to do.  My issue is that the content I created in Word was on a page oriented in landscape.  I chose Landscape from the Layout menu when creating the document.  It appears in landscape in Word.  I don't need to rotate the content because It is already oriented correctly on the landscape page.  However, it will not print the way it was created.

Oddly enough, it doesn't happen with all documents.  Others that have been created in landscape mode will print in landscape mode.  So, I'll just consider this one a fluke and work around it.

I've had the same problem when trying to print in landscape from Word. Saving it as a PDF with word and printing it from Acrobat printed correctly for me.

Had I known that it was a Table that would have been my next suggestion but I was unable to reply sooner. Apparently the Table was corrupt, which is not uncommon. That's one way to effect a cure.

Another common method is to convert the Table to Text, then convert it back to a Table again.

Hi I am an independent advisor and hoping to help you today.

May I know if you're doing the same thing as the method indicated in below link from office support in the 'Change the orientation of specific pages' section?

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/print-...

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Yes, I have done all of those things.  The page is oriented landscape on my screen, but not when I try to print.  However, if I cut and paste the text from that page (it's in a table) into a new document with the page in landscape mode, it appears in landscape and prints in landscape.  So, I have found a way to make it work.

    Hi ramblinsh

Printing Landscape or Portrait is a property of your printer driver . . .

Choose to print your document, then you should see a Printer Properties or preferences option, choose that

On the resulting dialog, you should have the option to print landscape or portrait . . .

If not, please provide a screenshot of the dialog you see when you choose to print the document . . .
