Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi Dihao,
If Group Policy settings are the only way to “speed up the O365 updates installation” i will use it.
And you also advise to use local or Network path instead of Microsoft CDN, to improve the update
I’ve tested O365 updates installation from a local path of the PC, and you’re right it takes one day to apply.
To avoid a lot of Administration, I will start update from Microsoft CDN with a “Target version” and “Deadline” settings configure via Group Policy.
And see if I happy with updates installation time. If not, I will move to updating from a local Network path.
Thank you for your advice.
About my issue “Error Code: 30182-27, I’ve posted a message on TechNet Community under “Office 2016, Office 2019 and Office 365 ProPlus – IT Pro” category.
And one expert finds the solution. For him, that issue is due to the lack of v64.cab/v32.cab when using Version attribute in Add element.
It seems that the v64.cab file miss when you specify Office365 version to download.
I have tested it and I confirm that if the update files doesn’t contain v64.cab file, update cannot run using Update Now” button.
I tested that Office365 update files without the “v64.cab” file, can be use only with Microsoft ODT tool “setup.exe /configure configuration.xml” command.
It’s not necessary that you test that update processes again as I had a reply of this issue.
Thank you very much for your support.
I really appreciated.
Best regards,
Savanes
