I'm using Word on my android phone and for the life of me I can't figure out how to see the word count on my documents.

There uses to be a arrow or something at the bottom you'd click on and then I could search Word Count and it'd show me.

Now I can't find it, please someone help.

    Hi Sara,
I am Lyn, an Independent Advisor and a fellow Microsoft user. Here to assist you in solving an issue.

The option can only be viewed manually. From the main menu to Review > Word count.

You can also tap on the arrow on the lower right to expand the options. Beside the undo icons, tap on the bulb icon. On the "Tell me what you want to do", type in word count. The word count option appears, tap it and you will see your documents word count and other status.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,
    Lyn

Haha well I feel absolutely stupid. I was trying to look for this without being in editing mode so the bar at the bottom wasn't there 😂

I'm sorry for wasting your time, feel free to delete this thread.
