INSERTING A NAME FOR A LINK

I want to drop a link into my document, and I want to give the link a new name. It will not allow me to do this, what can I do?

    Hi WillaRobinson,

    When you insert a hyperlink in Word document or Outlook email, you can right-click this hyperlink to edit the name of it. 

     

    You mentioned it won’t let you do this, may I know which application are you using? Can you create a new document to check whether issuer persists? Is there any error message when you try to rename hyperlink? If so, please provide the screenshot with us so that we can understand better.
