What does it mean "PC only" apps in the parenthesis?

Hi everyone,

I am curious about Office apps  like Access and Publisher which have "PC only" in the parenthesis. What does it mean?

This is shown in pricing and planning page of Microsoft 365 product as below.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Access | For home | Windows

    It is only available for computers running Windows.  So there is no version of the software from say Linux, MAC, Android, Apple, ... devices.

    That said, there are workarounds: using RDP, virtualization, ...  So if you truly need to use them, there may still be a way to do so.

    Means not available on a Mac
