I have a table where some cells between different rows are merged. I would like to move all the rows which consist the same merged cell to another page. That should be the same table (tittle of the table is generated automatically on each page.

Put the selection in the cell in which I have inserted a red rectangle

And go the the Line and Page Breaks tab of the Paragraph dialog and check the box for Page break before.

    Hello,

I already had that settings like you described.

    1. The "Repeat Header Rows" is on
    2. The "Allow row to break across pages" is on (looks like it does not apply in case of a merged cells between many rows)

Current results according to your suggestion is wrong:

My wish is to have the red cells on the next page. To create that example I made a dummy row marked red.

That might be a solution if I could make the red marked row unvisible (border lines).

I was thinking if there is something like a Page Break to move green cells to the next page, when I try that... a new table is created so the headtittle is missing. Maybe someone has some other ideas?

    Thank you for your investigation.

    Hi Bachmatiuk,

Thanks for sharing your experience on this forum.

According to your description, please follow the steps as below to check the result:

1.Select the table and click Repeat Header Rows under layout:

Then the header will be generated on each page automatically.

2.Select the table and right-click Table properties, then uncheck Allow row to break across pages.

Then the part of the table will display on the next page instead of being split.

Please have a try and share the result with us.

    Best Regards

    Higgins
