Word 2007 problem with WordArt

Hello. I had a problem a few days ago and it still happens when I reinstalled Microsoft Word 2007. As I don't like the new styles of WordArt, I use word 2007 to work with. Here's my problem: No matter what I do, the WordArt font is Arial, or some random fonts when in other styles (cursive, thick). Does anyone know what is going on? The problem didn't happen before. I thought maybe I have too many fonts installed because I have a really good collection of fonts, but that would make no sense. I don't know what is the reason for it happening and I don't know if it's my fault or is it just outdated program or something like that. Thank you.

And the add-on I think only fixes the issue with the vertical styles.

When you said "nothing" in regard to safe mode, I take it you mean that it has the same problem.

I gave a link to my Add-In and to Greg Maxey's code.

Mine was perfect in Word 2010 and less-so later. Which style are you looking for, in which version of Word.

For instance, in my Add-In here is one sample in Word 2019 (365)

    I've looked at your sample

The text is in Arial Black font.

That does not really have a "Bold" type; it is already Bold.

By Cursive I assume you mean what I would call Italic.

If you have the installation media and product key for your Word 2007 you could do a repair.

Here are links to two documents. One based on yours and edited in Word 2007.

The other was created and edited in Word 2019 (365) and I used both methods I suggested earlier.

Here is a screenshot from the 2019 version:

Word 2007 is working as well as ever here. That includes WordArt.

Have you tried it in safe mode?

Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC - Microsoft Office

It is possible to get those WordArt patterns in later versions. See:

Depends whether an actual re-install or a repair.

Since 2007 went out of support in 2014 and since then no updates of any type
