    Hello Doug,

I would suggest you create a folder in your OneDrive and share the folder(with the file).

At the moment, follow below steps.

Open a document after a file corruption error

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/open-a...

How to troubleshoot damaged documents in Word

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/trouble...

However, kindly understand that not all the corrupt file can be recovered. To avoid that issue in the future, store the important file in OneDrive or on your personal hardrive.

This forum is a user-to-user support forum.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Maluz

If the document is not too large to attach to an email message, send me a copy of it that way, referencing this thread in the covering email message and I will see if I can recover your document.

Alternatively, upload a copy of the document to the following folder of my OneDrive

    https://1drv.ms/f/s!AmuIXmFDy-1a8nP3RpgnYHp-5zXK

and send me an email to the address shown in my signature to let me know that it is there.

When I find out what type of corruption is in the document, I will try and make suggestions of how to prevent it from re-occuring

i have shared the file on OneDrive through your email

i am not so good when it come to using OneDrive, i don't if i did the right thing but the sharing was successful.
