Hi

I'm using office 365 and I need to insert some of these grey fields in some boxes in my form. How can I add them to a box?

Also is there any option for a time drop box?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Abbasi,

I am Lyn, an Independent Advisor and a fellow Microsoft user. Here to assist you in solving an issue.

    1. Show Developer tab. File > Options> Customize Ribbon. Under Customize the Ribbon Main Tab, check Developer box and click OK.
    2. Go back to Word. Go to Developer tab and then Design mode and you can now insert the controls like enter texts,

insert a combo or drop down list,

    a date picker or

    a checkbox.

In order to create a drop down box with lists of time as choices, please do the following:

Click where you want your drop down list to appear. Then go to Developer tab > Design mode > Drop-down List Content Control, then you'll see an inserted drop down box in the document > Click Properties

Under General tab, write the Title ("Time" for example) for your drop down list > Click Add > Under Display Name, write the first list of choices ( 7:00 AM for example) to appear >Click OK

Click Add again for the other list of choices in your drop box. Then Click OK.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    Lyn

Select everything in the document (CTRL+a) and then in the Controls section of the Developer tab of the ribbon, expand the Group dropdown and click on Group

If you insert a Date Picker Content Control and then access the Properties dialog for that control, you can then set the format to one of several time formats

Thanks for the replay. it was really helpful Now the only problem is making a drop box with customized text or time. Probably I need to post a new question for that :)
