I want a shape on top of Picture Placeholder

As you see in the screenshot..

i put these white shapes on image Placeholder in Master layout.  i want that when i insert image, these white line shape should remain on top. but they hide back...

is there anyway they remain visible on top of Image?? Please help me

    There's no good way. One possibility is to place a TEXT placeholder over the pictute placeholder, remove text format and add a space and a fill (maybe a transparent PNG) 

    This is not really robust or satisfactory though.

    Placeholderes will always show in front of standard shapes on the master / layout when in show mode.
