Applying O365 DLP to a security group

Greetings,

I am trying to scope a DLP policy only to a security group, however i do not see any in the list.

According to the DLP documentation, it states that you can scope it to security groups

Any help or clarification is appreciated.

We just want to scope this DLP to specific users only.

    Hi Odenkaz,

    According to the official documentation, we can choose to include specific distribution groups in Exchange, that means you can include specific DG/SG for Exchange mailbox location instead of OneDrive location. If you want to scope this DLP to specific OneDrive accounts, please enter the URL for one account then click to search, and then add them one by one, your understanding is highly appreciated.
