Dear Microsoft,

Regarding my case, we’re Cambodian peoples are having problem with our Cambodian font(Khmer Font) with MS excel on MAC.

There are a lot of Cambodian people reporting this problem, but seem Microsoft doesn’t solve the problem yet.

I’m sending you two picture, which one is Khmer font on MS Word and another one on MS excel. The khmer font seem to work very well with MS word but in MS excel the khmer font seem to show incorrect.

Please have a look at the attachment file.

I’m looking forward to hear from you.

Regards

Piseth Oum.

    Dear Jen,

Thank you for your response, for the excel version I think I’m having and using the latest one 16.39.

The problem is the excel doesn’t show correct format for the khmer font in excel.

Please see attachment file for that, and problem solved by select all the field and “Wrap Text”.

I think excel supposed to show correct format without Wrap Text.

I’m looking forward to hear from you.

    Regards

As Piseth mentioned, just click select all and apply the wrap text option. Click any cell in the sheet to deselect. Type as normal.

Hello Oum! I'm Jen, an independent advisor, I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Khmer font display in Microsoft Excel. Could you check if you're using the latest version of Excel?

If not yet updated, I suggest you to install the latest updates.

    1. Open Excel.
    2. Click Help.
    3. Click Check for Updates.
    4. Select Automatically Download and Install.
    5. Click Check for Updates.

This will check for the latest update of Microsoft Office and install the updates.

You may also check this thread and try the workaround that worked out well for the other users.
