Setting tabs in Microsoft Word - Office 365

I can't find the tab setting to set tabs in Word Office 365.

I don't have a Tab option on the Paragraph launcher.

I don't have an Options option in File> Options

EDIT: I have resolved the problem. It doesn't show before the document has been named and saved.

Thank you.  It turned out I had the free online version - although I had paid for the full version.  I called Microsoft and they fixed the problem.  The free online version does not have several of those functions, including the one to include grid lines.  Thanks for your time to respond.  This is evidently a big problem because when you purchase Office it isn't obvious what version one is downloading.  The tech guy apologized for it and is equally frustrated with it.

At the bottom left of the Paragraph dialog, there is a Tabs... button that will open the Tabs dialog.

Which operating system are you running? On Windows, it is certainly possible to set tab stops even if you haven't saved the document first.

That said, you should of course always save your document to prevent data loss.

    Hi Barbara ,

I am Lyn, an Independent Advisor and a fellow Microsoft user. Here to assist you in solving an issue.

May I confirm if you are using a Mac OS? I think the process you mentioned is applicable to Windows users. For Mac software, dialog launchers are listed on the Format menu (Menu Bar at the top of your Word window).

If you wish to adjust indents and spacing in Word for Mac,

Select the text you want to adjust. Go to Home > Line and Paragraph Spacing > Line Spacing Options and a paragraph dialog box will open where you can adjust indents and spacing.
