One Drive uploads, missing folders and files, and different files and folders shown using app or file explorer

Hi guys,

I am having major troubles with one drive, I can not upload folders and files with any sort of reliability. When I upload, one drive will only upload some folders and files and will show different folders and files if I use the app, file explorer or use my browser and go direct to the one drive online site itself and  it will be different again if I use another device (laptop, tablet, phone). I have deleted everything on one drive several times I have reinstalled one drive app, I have tried uploading from different sources using different folders and files all with different devices. I have uploaded different folders and files to different places and done other online activities which have been all good, so my internet connection is fine. I can however upload one file at a time and it will be seen on all devices no matter what way I view it (app, file explorer, one drive site online) but this is not possible as I am trying to back-up several folders with files. So I assume my next step would be to delete my account and start again or if anyone has got a solution to this would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

jke

"Your next step" is not correct.

Office 365 Family when first installed, by default in all Office components, except MS Outlook, the default save location is to OneDrive.

And the default setup of OneDrive is to sync \My Documents\

You can view this via OneDrive settings, seen via its task bar icon.

And as such there is nothing for you to do, unless you have previously saved your docs to some other location.

In File Explorer there will be a OneDrive folder, which shows the OneDrive contents

    Hi Palcouk,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

When I go to file explorer OneDrive on the first level it will show all the files and folders.

I will then open one of those folders to go to the next level and there will be no files in that folder, (there should be files in that folder).

If I go to another folder in OneDrive and it will show all of the files in that folder.

    Kind regards

    jke
