New functions e.g., Textjoin, Concate, Ifs, Switch are not available in Excel 2019 version 2007 (Build 13029-20006) updated till today. I remember that earlier I have used "Textjoin" but now it is not list in formula list. If I enter a function, result shows error as #Name .

Functions are missing probably after an update, which update I can't point out bcz I've used "Textjoin" earlier but now when I tried to use it again then found that all the new functions are missing/not available in functions list.

However thanks for your guidance. I'll try to reinstall the office suite and will share my experience with you.

    Regards

    Zaigham

    Hi,

I understand that you're unable to use the new functions in the Excel app like TEXTJOIN, CONACTATE, IFS, and SWITCH . Don't worry. Let me assist you.

The Excel functions are available in your Office suite, it is possible that a corrupted system file is the cause why this issue is happening. Before we get to troubleshoot the app, please check this Microsoft articles about how the new function works in the Excel app because you might have missed something that is why the error appeared.

If after checking the instructions on how to use these features and you still have the same issue, you can try the following Microsoft articles to help solve the issue.

    1. Install Office updates
