Microsoft office professional 2016 plus activation wizard keep popping up

Hello, even though I purchased and installed Office 365 in May, I have now started getting activation wizard for office professional plus 2016. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times but I keep on getting this message and am not able to do any work!!! I need support immediately on how to resolve this, please.

    Dear Neha,

    Thank you for the prompt reply. Actually before you respond I kept on looking for solutions in the Microsoft website through different troubleshooting and it finally run some sort of program to check error and in the process repaired it. So I do not really know what was done but it has worked for now :) Thank you again for the support!!

    Hi AAT_Eth,

    Please open Control Panel and go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features, check which version of Microsoft Office is installed. May I know if you see both, Microsoft 365, and Office 2016 available in the list of installed apps?

    If you see Office 2016 and you don’t need this program, please uninstall it. To know how, see Uninstall Office from a PC (follow the steps mentioned in Option 1 - Uninstall Office from the Control Panel). Once uninstalled, you should not see Microsoft office professional 2016 plus activation wizard anymore.

    If the issue persists, please confirm the following information:

    1. Please provide the screenshot of Microsoft 365 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open Word or Excel on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of this page and attach in your reply to this post.
    2. May I know if you see both, Microsoft 365, and Office 2016 in Control Panel uninstall list?
    3. Please confirm us which Microsoft 365 you purchased.
