Dear Microsoft,

Regarding my case, we’re Cambodian peoples are having problem with our Cambodian font(Khmer Font) with MS excel on MAC.

There are a lot of Cambodian people reporting this problem, but seem Microsoft doesn’t solve the problem yet.

I’m sending you two picture, which one is Khmer font on MS Word and another one on MS excel. The khmer font seem to work very well with MS word but in MS excel the khmer font seem to show incorrect.

Please have a look at the attachment file.

I’m looking forward to hear from you.

Regards

Piseth Oum.

    Hello Dear Oum,

I'm glad that you were able to find a workaround that temporarily fixes your problem with the use of "wrap text". However, as of now, i think Microsoft has not released an update yet that would permanently fix this bug/issue. Here in the community, we can only give suggestions and possible solutions to our fellow users that might help them fix their problem to the best of our knowledge. What I can suggest to you for now is to raise this concern through Excel Uservoice. I have seen a related post in this forum and you might want to check this out to see the discussion going on here. But this one talks about MS Word.

    https://word.uservoice.com/forums/304942-word-f...

However, I suggest you to create a new post regarding your concern on the Excel for Mac Uservoice Forum through this link:

    https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304933-excel...

This is an official platform where users can send suggestions and ideas to improve their product. We hope you can raise your concerns here to help this issue be fixed on the next version of excel.

I hope I was able to help you in any way and thank you for your understanding.

    Kind Regards,

    Jen :)

    Hello Oum!

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

May I know what kind of format you are trying to achieve?

Could you send me a screenshot showing the text "before" and "after" applying the wrap text? That way, it would be easy for me to identify the difference so I could reproduce the issue at my end.

    Thank you.

    Jen :)
