Saved PDF Printouts not displaying in OneNote iPad App

On ipad i have multiple one note pages with PDF Printouts. The printouts are not displaying - only the drawing information that i’ve sketched on with the ipad pencil. Everthing worked ok up until yesterday. This morning no printouts on old saved pages. If i insert a new PDF printout on a new page all is ok ? Can anyone help please ?

Hi George

Success !  After hours of trial & errors- the only way to fix this problem is to uninstall the OneNote App & re-install. Printouts now appear after a bit of a delay re-loading for the 1st time.

    I would like to make a summary for this issue, which may benefit other community members in the future.

    Issue description:

    In OneNote client, the PDF printouts are not displaying

    Issue environment:

    OneNote

    iPhone & iPad

    Issue solution:

    1. Go to www.onenote.com to confirm whether the notebook displays normally
    2. If the notebook displays well online, please try to close and reopen the notebook to re-sync it.
    3. Please try to reset OneNote. Go to iPad Setting, find OneNote, Reset OneNote
    4. Uninstall OneNote application and reinstall it.
    5. Change the internet and sync the notebook again

    Many thanks for getting back to me.

    if i access OneNote from www.OneNote.com - yes the printouts appear fine thanks.

    I’m not sure that the pages are synced, as if i close the OneNote App & re-open i still get the missing pdf printouts. I’ve signed out of my account & re-signed back in. To sign back in i had to re-link the app to my Onedrive which worked ok. I’ve re-loaded my Notebooks & unfortunatey the printouts still don’t show.

    i noticed the OneNote App had an update yesterday version 16.4. Could this be the problem ?

    Hi CadMan Chris,

    Thanks for posting in the community.

    According to your description, I would like to know if you access www.onenote.com, do the old pages display printouts?

    If so, make sure the notebook has been synced well in OneNote. Close the notebook and reopen the notebook.

    If the issue still exists, please try to:

    Make sure all the content has been synced well.

    1. Reset OneNote

    Go to iPad Setting, find OneNote, Reset OneNote

    1. If the above suggestion doesn’t help you, please try to uninstall OneNote and reinstall it.
