Can the starting number of a numbered list be customized in OneNote for Windows 10 like it can in all the desktop apps?

I need a numbered list to span rows in a table.  Can I change the starting number of the 2nd numbered list to be something other than 1?

Hi Tom Petek,

Thanks for the updates.  I haven’t heard news on it, however, if you would like more format settings on Number list and Bullet list, I would suggest you switch to OneNote 2016(now rename as OneNote or OneNote 365) that is another version of OneNote with such feature. You may download and use it for free from the Link: Install or reinstall OneNote for Windows.

You may find how to find the change start number from screenshot below:

Hope these can help.

Regards,

Clark

    Hi Tom Petek,

I go through the post carefully, though there are no related settings on this in OneNote for Win10, however, we may do so by type Number + Space + . + text to customize start number(for example” 2. abc)

We may also change start number of existing number list by delete the number behind the text > Number + Space + . + text. As you can see in GIF below(I type Backspace twice to delete the number in number list)

    Hope this can help.

    Regards,

    Clark

Thanks much.  I tried this and it works.  However, it requires a "." and this is a problem for me.  Have any idea if MS is going to replicate the formatting currently available in the desktop apps into OneNote for Windows?  I'd like to make the switch, but the insufficient formatting keeps me in the desktop apps.
