A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
John's suggestion to Delete the Bookmarks is worth a try but I'm not sure what the overall effect may be... It depends on the purpose served by the Bookmarks. If they only represent the fields supplied in the template there should be no problem but if you've created any for cross-references or other purposes deleting them will break the links.
If that doesn't work the only logical conclusion I can come up with is that there is some form of corruption in the document. The software is current & the check to display Bookmarks is cleared so the Bookmark symbols should not even display on screen. And as I wrote before, even if they are displayed they should not show up in the preview, a PDF or a printed copy. Another indication is that the Field Shading is displayed despite the fact that When Selected appears to be the current setting in your View Preferences [I don't know the language but I'm guessing that is a correct interpretation.]
One approach is to use File> Save As to create a new copy of the document which may produce a clean version that doesn't present the problem. If you try this I'm offering the following suggestions:
- Save the new copy using the .docx file type
- Use a much shorter, simpler file name
- In the new document confirm the correct Preferences for Bookmarks & Field Shading
If that doesn't resolve it you can try doing a Maggie to clear the corruption:
- Command+A [Select All]
- Shift+← [deselect final ¶]
- Command+C [Copy]
- Command+N [create a new blank document]
- Command+V [Paste into new document]
- Command+S [Save the new document]
Be sure to not omit step #2: That ending ¶ carries a lot of hidden information which probably includes the cause of the corruption. Some reformatting or other touch-up may need to be done in the new document.
