REUSE SLIDES IS NOT WORKING IN POWERPOINT ONLINE

Hi 

The reuse slides option does not seem to be working in MS Powerpoint Online. It opens the side pane but does not show any results. Will appreciate help as soon as possible.

    Through some research I found this:  You have to open Power Point as if you are creating a "NEW" presentation.  At that point "Reuse Slides" option is available.  You CAN-NOT start with the first presentation in your sequence and build from there.  You need to start as if you are creating a new presentation and build from there.  Not sure why this change was made - it does not make the program more productive - it makes it less productive as now you have an added step.  In my opinion this was a step backwards for Microsoft.

    yeah i had the same problem, it's really annoying how microsoft doesn't really care about their consumers and how they only care for money and about trying to being better than apple- BUT ANYWAY here's something that you can try:

    have a tab open with the power point that has the slides that you want to reuse, then open another tab with the new power point. select a slide one at a time (from the old power point) and click copy from the clipboard dropdown menu. go to the new ppt and click paste from the dropdown menu.

    you will probably have to do this many times, as far as i know there's no faster and easier way, but anyway i hope this helps

    It is not working period......I have slides prepared for music words to be projected.  I call up the first song from my library - put the curser under the last slide of the first presentation.  I select "New Slide" and the "Reuse Slide" option is grayed out.  Has worked fine for many years - now all of a sudden it is no longer working.  I have over 300 songs created in separate presentations and I create a "Master" each week with the songs (presentations" I am using for that week.  I cannot build new presentations each week as the songs (slide presentations" change.  Many of the songs (presentations) are 30 to 60 slides ........HELP!!!
