How do I download Office Pro Plus 2019 for Mac?

I have looked everywhere and been on each relevant microsoft/office site but I have not found an answer.

I just bought a Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2019 product key and applied it to my account. It is listed properly as my product and there is a button to download it. But it only downloads a .exe file every time and no Mac compatible .dmg file. Is there even Office Pro Plus 2019 for Mac? I did research and to my understanding it should run on Mac. But where do I download it?

(I am close to losing it...)

Please help me.

Thanks.

There are different versions of Office that can be installed on a Mac OS, like Office Home and Student 2019, Office Home and Business 2019, Office 365 version, but for Office Pro Plus 2019, that version is only applicable to be installed on a Windows 10 Operating System.

    Hi All,

Same idea with GemmyMat, I think OP mentioned he purchased the Office Pro Plus 2019 is actually Office 2019 professional plus, which is a license specific for the PC platform.

For the Microsoft 365 business/enterprise, they never provide you with a product key or ask you to redeem your account. You are required to login your Business account before making purchase, and after the purchasing, the license is attached with your account directly.

@Jonathan, your license you purchased is not suitable for the MacOS, please consider asking for a refund and purchase a new license which support the macOS platform, for instance: Office Home & Business 2019

    Regards,

    Alex Chen

Microsoft has changed the name of Office ProPlus to Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise. It is supported on Mac OS. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/microsoft-365-apps-for-enterprise-product?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab.

How did you purchase Office? Note that this version is usually provided by organizations, so you should follow the steps outlined by your IT support.

    No **** Sherlock.

Been over this article a thousand times, one reason being that microsoft is linking in loops and sending their customers back to where they came from.

Anyone here who can actually help?

The article at the link I posted clearly states: "Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, and the two most recent versions of macOS. All languages included."
