Microsoft Quiz (timed quiz)

I cannot believe that Microsoft is trying to push Teams as a LMS without this essential feature! Right now, if the student is late to press the submit button, he will get a complete zero, and cannot submit the form. This feature must be incorporated to allow Microsoft Forms and Teams to be used in any graded test environment. Ironically, in Google Forms, it is possible to add a third party app and have this same exact feature. We might need to move away from teams in to Gsuite for our school if this feature isn't added urgently. At minimum, they could have support for third party apps such as Quilgo.

To address your concern about the highly needed feature in Forms, we sincerely recommend you post this in Forms UserVoice:*Forms should have option to give required time limit for the whole quiz and after that time limit quiz end quiz automatic submitted*As what you’ve noticed, there are multiple users have raised their ideas there, this platform is an Official which help the related team to collect customers good ideas and suggestions that improve our Product. And we also hope you can raise this there to help this feature release ASAP, besides, I would like add another information about Forms that you can also customize deadlines for quiz or form submissions, please refer Set deadlines and settings for a form or quiz.

I want to make a quiz that has time limit..

Students will have to finish answering all of the questions in specific time like 30 mins. If not, the answer will be automatically sent when the time is up.

How can I do this?

We recently started using Teams to teach online during the pandemic. Everyone is trying to figure out a way to time tests, so I really hope Microsoft will be able to add this feature to Teams or Forms.  Allowing students to take their tests outside of class would allow more time in class and may even relieve some test anxiety.

A teacher on our college claims he could force this with setting a start and end date with time within options for responses. He only complains that that was always possible in blocks  of 15 minutes were this now is limited to 30 minute blocks. So it isn't possible to make a quiz (exam) for 45 minutes. Has this changed or is he mistaking?
