Having trouble with adding editable text boxes in PowerPoint

Hello,

I've been trying to add in editable text boxes to a presentation in PowerPoint using the developer tools, but when I add a single text box it shows up as two during the live presentation with the actual editable one super-imposed above the text box I want (see attached screenshot).

How do I go about fixing this issue? Do I need to change something under text box properties?

Thanks very much,

Sarah S

    Hi John,

I think it is actually my display settings on my extended screen monitor. When I tested the presentation on just my laptop it doesn't have the same issue. Any suggestions for formatting properties of my monitor (BenQ model monitor) to resolve this issue?

    Best,

    Sarah

Please choose File>Options>Advanced, scroll down to the Display section and check the box beside Disable Slide Show hardware graphics acceleration.
