Hello, I was wondering whether I can add to the standard “Progress” options in Planner (Not started/In progress/Completed)? I would like to add options “Draft completed”, “Vetting” and “Post vetting finalisation” to reflect the progress of tasks between “In progress” and “Completed”.

    Hi Fiona,

Thank you for posting your question in this community. Based on your description, you would like to add more custom options under “Progress” but not only limited to the three default “Progress” options.

Unfortunately, there is no out of box method to achieve this at this moment. I understand that it would be easier for team manage to further specialize the task status based on different project type.

A lot of users also noticed this limitation in Planner and raise the ideas about create custom Progress in Planner UserVoice.

    For your information:

Allow us to have Custom Progress Status’s

    Custom progress

If it is convenient, I suggest you can vote and subscribe these ideas. As more and more users vote on the ideas, it can let the related team be aware of this limitation and improve it with a better solution in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Dihao
