Change device Office Home and Student

I would like to buy Office Home and Student, the one time purchase, but it is restricted to one device. What happens if I change laptop though? Do I need another license? Also will I get updates?

Rest assured, you will not need to purchase Office2019 again, and yes, you will get updates, if you purchase an Office Home and Student 2019 licence, that is a perpetual licence, you can install that on one PC or Mac at a time, then when you change laptops, you can then move your licence to that by installing Office on the new laptop using the steps on this page
