I am using powerpoint on a mac.

I am creating a template, and need to insert an image placeholder, and then change the shape to a single rounded corner rectangle. The default corner that is rounded is the upper right corner, but I need the rounded corner to be the lower right corner. I cant just rotate the box or else when the image is inserted it will not be orientated correctly. Thank you.

    1. Draw a normal rectangular placeholder.
    2. Choose Shape Format>Edit Shape>Change Shape and choose Rectangle. This step has no apparent effect, but it prepares the placeholder for the next steps.

    3. Click on the edge of the placeholder again. No apparent change, but now, 4. Choose Shape Format>Edit Shape and click on the Edit Points choice which has become available. 5. Right-click on the placeholder border above the lower right corner where you want to start the curve and choose Add Point. There are 2 cursors that can appear, avoid the one with 4 arrowheads, that's for moving the shape. 6. Click on the point that is the current lower right corner and slide it to the left. 7. Use the curve handles to adjust the shape to a round corner:

    Hi May,

I don't know if you saw John's superb reply to the question that was asked. Do you have any further question about John's reply?
