    Welcome to Microsoft Community, I understand your concerns, and your understanding is highly appreciated. For your question, my short reply is No. Before you try to download the Microsoft Teams add-in for Outlook, please be aware that only the more recent versions of Office 365 and Exchange allow the installation of add-ins. To use this add-in, you will need to be running one of the following versions:

    • Office 2013
    • Office 2016
    • Exchange 2013
    • Exchange 2016

    So you need to ensure Outlook 2013 or later installed if you want to install Teams Add-ln. lf you have any confusion, please feel free to tell me, thanks.

    Support for Office 2007 ended October 2017 and at that time the backup install was removed from MS Site, and updates of any type ceased
