Format, as in File type, png. I dont know the name for the file since I did a Windows + Print Screen. Not sure what numbers were the screenshots.

Hi Joe ^_^. Joe my screenshots normally go to a file marked Screenshots in Pictures on Quick Access. When I took the screenshots they didn't go there, then i read a recent Microsoft Update sent all new Screenshots taken to Onedrive. I went there and they wont even there. Slightly upset but I went and changed back the location back to Pictures Screenshots.

    Where were they originally stored?

    Try looking under:

    C:\Users<Your Name>\pictures\screenshots

If you want more help, please let me know.

    Regards,

When you press Windows + Print Sc, the screenshot captured is saved in C:\Users(UserName)\Pictures\Screenshots.

When you configure Manage Backup in OneDrive, the location of C:\Users(UserName)\Pictures\Screenshots is changed to C:\Users(UserName)\OneDrive\Pictures\Screenshots, and the new screenshots captured gets automatically synced with OneDrive cloud.

Since you are missing the screenshot from OneDrive please refer to the link. It may help you find and restore the screenshot.

Do you know what format they were saved in? You could search for them from the command prompt.
