    Hi Sal,

Sorry for the inconvenience the problem caused for you.

To check whether the problem is related to the Word client or the original PDF files, could you please create a new Word document and save it as PDF, then convert it to Word to see if the same problem happen?

And could you please provide a sample PDF file for us via Private Message? So that we could test it on our side.

Additionally, could you please provide a screenshot of your Word product information for us like the following picture?

    Appreciate your time and effort.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

Yes It converts but it is not organized, the text is all over the place. I convert no problem, it's the text that's all jumbled and all over the place. I am not very happy right now, it is frustrating and I can't get a straight answer. I expected the file to look exactly the way it looked in Pdf, if not, it is irrelevant

     for me to convert.

    Hi Sal,

Thank you for the reply. According to your reply, there’s a few points that need to be clarified so that we can help you. Could you please provide more information for us? So that we could help you better.

You mentioned that you are using "scan to pdf" feature, may I confirm that which application you are using to use this feature?

And "word does convert", may I confirm that if you followed the steps in my previous reply to convert PDF?

    Appreciate your cooperation in advance.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

    Hi Sal,

Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Per your description, you want to convert scanned PDF files to Word documents, however, the result was not normal.

May I confirm that whether you converted the document via the following steps? For more details, you can refer to this article: Insert scanned text or images into Word

    1. In Word click File > Open.
    2. Navigate to where your PDF file is stored, and open it.
    3. Word will open a dialog box confirming that it is going to attempt to import the text of the PDF file. Click OK to confirm, and Word will import the text. Word will do its best to preserve the formatting of the text as it appears in the PDF.

And since these PDF files are generated by scanning, may I confirm that what method you used to scan?

    Appreciate your cooperation in advance.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn
