I want to modify paragraph format when Defining New List Style by adjusting Hanging measure for increasing space distance between number/bullet and word. But modifying the paragraph format is not available on 'New List Style'. Please give me a question.

List styles only store the settings directly associated with list formatting, such as number/bullet format, indentation around list symbols, restarts etc.

Other paragraph settings, such as line spacing, are controlled by the underlying paragraph style.

Note that the recommended approach is to set up a list style and associate a paragraph style with each level. See the article at https://shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/numbering20072010.html which uses the built-in headings as examples, although the principles apply to non-heading multilevel lists as well.

To add to what Stefan has said, the indents for numbered/bulleted styles must be set in the Define New Multilevel List dialog, as those settings override the settings in the Paragraph dialog.
