A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi VAinc,
Thank you for posting here in the Microsoft Community Forum.
We got your concern about being unable to uninstall the OneDrive app on your Android phone. As part of the changes with OneDrive support that can be found here, allow us to check on this and point you to the appropriate Support team experts that are in full action of handling this type queries.
Based on the information provided, you’ve already tried uninstalling the OneDrive app from the Settings app of your device and through the Play Store which also didn’t give you the option to completely uninstall the app. Having said that, it would be best to reach out with OneDrive in-app support team for assistance. They may need to check at the back-end service, as to why it’s not letting you uninstall it and provide alternatives on how to perform this action.
To do this using the OneDrive mobile app, shake your device while you’re in the OneDrive app. Using another device like a computer, sign in to OneDrive.com from any browser, click the ? help icon on the top banner of the page and select Email OneDrive support. Once it’s submitted, one from our OneDrive Support Team will respond to you within 24-72hours. Please take note that the waiting time may vary depending on the volume of all the submitted tickets.
If you also have other OneDrive related concerns, you may raise it with them as they’re now handling all of it.
Should you have any clarifications or If you would like us to provide additional advice, simply respond to this thread. We will get notified and I’ll reply to you as soon as I can.
