Hi Team,

Need info on the following topic....

G-drive to O365 migration....I believe Mover.io tool is Microsoft offering & completely free (no license cost required).

Do we have some costs out of M365 licenses for Mover.io & their support?

Do we need direct links to Google & MS to speed up transfer?

Mover.io can do both migrations (mailboxes & GDrives) ?

Please help me to get the above information earliest....

    Hello BashabG01,

According to your description, I understand that you would like to migrate from Google Drive to Microsoft 365. Based on my check, Mover is a 100% free service. Whether you are a single user or a larger partner, Mover is free. For the Microsoft 365 licenses, you need to purchase them separately from Microsoft 365 not Mover.

To migrate to Microsoft 365 admin center, you need to create a connector. The Connector is what we call our link to your cloud storage accounts. For detailed instructions, here is an article for your reference: Mover Cloud Migration.

Besides, Mover only migrates data from:

    1.  An individual's online drive storage, such as OneDrive, MyDrive, etc. or

    2.  Data located in a shared drive, including Dropbox Team's Folder, SharePoint Document Library, Google Shared Drive, etc.

And Mover does not migrate e-mails, mailboxes, contacts, calendars, site layouts/collections, etc. About the limits and other requirements, please see: Microsoft 365 FAQ.

If you need more help, please feel free to let me know.

    Regards,

    Seven
