We suggest you to continue to use the new use account and move the data from old user profile to new one as a workaround for the issue.
That's not a feasible solution and 'workarounds' don't address the problem at hand.
Perhaps this is why Microsoft can't fix bugs that have been reported for many, many years - they have low level 'agents' telling people to ignore the problem so the bug is never actually reported to the engineers. It's disappointing and fuels resentment
of the brand.
"sometimes issue is caused by a specific corrupt user profile."
How does this happen? How can this be erased or rewritten or resolved? For other users who come across this thread, how can they fix their issue without resorting to an unreasonable workaround? Is this bug created by MacOS or OneDrive? If OD, has this issue
been logged and how is Microsoft addressing this bug in their software?
Regardless, I have completely erased my hard drive and reinstalled MacOS. My OneDrive version is now 20.169.0823.0006 and I'm no longer having the issue.
