How to change decimal separator in Excel Online

Hello, I am working with Excel Online and I can't seem to change the decimal separator to dot (.), it always uses the comma (,) as the decimal separator. I think it's because I'm in Indonesia so it works like that.

I have seen an answer to this question but I don't understand it so I will ask this question again. The reply to that previous question was that we needed to change the Site Settings to change the location of the document, but I don't understand how to find the "Site Settings". Where is it located? Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

You should see an option of Regional Formatting in the File > Options Section. Set your option to say English (United States) or English (United Kingdom) to be able to see the decimal separator as dot.  Note that it will also change the date, time and currency settings as well. So check what option you want and set that.

    Hi snowsparkles!

I'm Jen, an independent advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

Try to change your Country/Region on your Microsoft Account Profile. Once you're signed-in to your Microsoft Account, click on "Region" and change it to a specific region or you may try a different one if that doesn't work.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you further.

    Stay safe and Happy Holidays!

    Jen :)
