Hi

Anyone got an idea why I am unable to get Amazon links to work with the HYPERLINK function.

I am currently using =HYPERLINK(A2,"click here")

Where A2 has https://www.amazon.co.uk/Camden-Brewery-Hells-Lager-Cans/dp/B07KP57SCF/ref=sr\_1\_162?almBrandId=QW1hem9uIEZyZXNo&dchild=1&fpw=alm&pd\_rd\_r=63ce133b-4a2e-4f90-b463-157d1b398492&pd\_rd\_w=zcTXW&pd\_rd\_wg=pTByu&pf\_rd\_p=c8458b03-1134-46ff-8ccc-d02c16bb1c5a&pf\_rd\_r=CXPMFHR8SGAZSZVQTGNX&qid=1614000620&s=amazonfresh&sr=1-162 in it

Instead of the cell showing Click Here, I get the dreaded VALUE#

Works with other websites but not Amazon.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Matthew

Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

I suspect it may be that the URL is too long.

Could you check how long the URL is using the LEN function, if it is more than 255 then unfortunately it wouldn’t be able to be used.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
